Overcome Fear with Faith

Strong and Courageous

Are you ready to stand up against your fears?

I have learned over time, as I have had to stand against my fears, that it takes courage and boldness to step out in faith and do the things God has called me to do.  Not an easy task at all, but with God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26.  And without faith it is impossible to please God,  Hebrews 11:6.  I desire to please God and I am sure you do as well.

As I was listening to Joyce Meyer’s broadcast, Overcoming Fear with Faith, I was encouraged even more to continue to step out in faith.  Joyce said, and I am paraphrasing:

You will miss some of the greatest blessings God has planned for you if you don’t learn how to develop your faith.  It takes work to be bold and courageous and to stand up against your fears.

Often times we coward down and are timid and fall under the trials.   We would rather have no opposition in life…no struggles…no challenges but we need these oppositions, struggles and challenges to grow…to strengthen our faith…to become strong, bold, courageous and confident.

Many people ask me if I had to do it all over again, would I live my life differently.  I respond by saying no and the reason I say no is because without the oppositions, struggles and challenges I have had to overcome in my life, I wouldn’t be the person I am today and I wouldn’t know God as intimately as I do.  My life has been full of trials, but I have overcame them and you can too.  But remember it takes work and I have noticed that many people don’t want to do the work.  They would rather sit in their junk and have a pity party everyday instead of putting some effort into their life to change it.  I am grateful that I stopped throwing those pity parties and applied some effort, focus and discipline into my life to become who I am today….A fearless, bold, courageous, confident and strong warrior of God.

Do you want to know how I did that?  My book Living Still shares my journey in detail and also my CD A Breath~in Stillness is a special tool God can use to help you move forward as well.  I encourage you to take the next step, put some effort into your journey and become all that God has called you to be.  I am here to encourage and love you through it.
