How Are You Representing Jesus?

How in the world are non Christians going to ever come to know and follow after the Jesus we know, love and serve if we speak of them and to them in hate, condemnation, judgment or that we are better than them in some way. What we need to do is show them Jesus–not preach at them. We need to love them unconditionally and speak the truth in love “only” as the spirit leads us. I think less preaching, less judging, less division, less debate and more love is what this world needs. I mean who in the world wants to get on the so call “Christian” wagon with a bunch of hating, judging, condemning and hypocritical people.

I am reminded of the story in the bible of the adulterous woman that everyone wanted to stone and Jesus said to them he who is without sin cast the first stone (John 8:1-30). No one threw a stone. Jesus showed this woman love and compassion and therefore she turned from her dark ways and lead a different life. If Jesus would have casted a stone at her, judged her, condemned her and showed hate she would have never seen or felt the love that ultimately turned her away from her dark path she was leading.

How are you representing Jesus…are you casting stones with your thoughts, words and actions or are you showing love and compassion? Think about it….Be Love Give Love
